Spring Maintenance: Now that spring is here, it will be important for you to make sure that both the inside and outside environments around your home are safe. Inside your home, check for frayed wires, loose plugs, and broken outlets. Also, make sure that your smoke detectors have fresh batteries and are functional.

Outside of your home, check for damage to your roof, gutters, downspouts, and make sure that your air conditioner doesn’t have tree limbs or bushes growing too close to the unit to prevent it from operating efficiently and safely.
